Qualifications

• Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Contacts members whose loan accounts are past due and coordinates payment schedules.
• Documents all collection actions taken, including calls, arrangements, and correspondence.
• Performs financial counseling to help resolve financial conditions for members.
• Assesses workout loans/rewrites and determines probability of payments and risk.
• Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations (FDCPA, BSA, FACTA, etc.).
• Prepares delinquency reports and assists leadership with analysis.
