Job summary

MV Transportation is seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor to monitor street operations and lead the division in safety organization, including classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction in passenger transportation, defensive driving, and safety procedures.

The role requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with guidance for handling emergencies in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in English and experience in supervision are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in passenger transportation preferred.
• Training or field supervision experience recommended but not required.
• One-year accident/injury-free driving experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage emergency situations.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Monitors safety manuals, programs, policies and practices to ensure they are current and meet operations needs.
• Fosters a consistent safety culture across locations involving operations, safety and maintenance teams.
• Reviews accident and incident reports to determine causes and prevention opportunities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
