Job summary

Menzies Aviation at Tampa International Airport is hiring for a passenger services role. You’ll perform computerized check-in for international and domestic travelers, assign seats, verify travel documents, and ensure boarding passes align with manifests for each flight.

Role requires 18+ years, a valid Driver’s License/FAA ID, and English proficiency. Applicants must be flexible for weekends/holidays and comfortable working outdoors in all weather, with up to 70 lbs lifting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess/maintain a valid Driver’s License and other FAA required identification/seals.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including, weekends and holidays.
• Work is done indoors and outdoors – must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Able to continuously lift, push and pull up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Computerized check-in of passengers for international and domestic travel.
• Designate seat assignments.
• Verify documentation for international and domestic flights.
• Ensure correct boarding passes are provided to each passenger for the assigned charter flight.
• Verify ticket and seat reservations.
• Match manifest to on-board count
• Assist with various governmental agency requirements.
• Connect and disconnect Jetway/stairs as necessary.
• Announce arrivals and departures as necessary.

Pay: $16.00/hour

• $0.50 pay increases at 180 days
• $0.50 pay increase at 360 days
• $0.50 increase at 2 years
