Menzies Aviation Boise is seeking a Passenger Service Agent to deliver exceptional customer service to airline passengers from check-in through boarding, while ensuring compliance with airline, airport and regulatory requirements.

You will handle ticketing, bag processing, seat assignments and boarding procedures; verify documents; assist with governmental requirements; work in all weather; flexible shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • Some customer service, hospitality, airline, or airport experience.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn airline reservation and departure control systems.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

Role Purpose

The Passenger Service Agent is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to airline passengers throughout their travel experience. This role assists with ticketing, check-in, baggage processing, boarding procedures, and passenger inquiries while ensuring compliance with airline, airport, and regulatory requirements.

What you will be doing

  • Computerized check-in of passengers for international and domestic travel.
  • Designate seat assignments.
  • Verify documentation for international and domestic flights.
  • Ensure correct boarding passes are provided to each passenger for the assigned charter flight.
  • Verify ticket and seat reservations.
  • Match manifest to on-board count
  • Assist with various governmental agency requirements.
  • Connect and disconnect Jetway/stairs as necessary.
  • Announce arrivals and departures as necessary.

What we are looking for:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Work is done indoors and outdoors – must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
  • Able to continuously lift, push and pull up to 70 lbs.
