Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Kansas City is hiring for a passenger services role. You will assist travelers and their belongings to ensure they reach their destinations safely, performing check-in, seating, and documentation verification for domestic and international flights.

The role requires reliability, ability to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays, and comfort with indoor and outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess/maintain a valid Driver’s License and FAA identification/seals.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Work is indoors and outdoors; comfortable in all weather conditions.
• Able to continuously lift, push and pull up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Computerized check-in of passengers for international and domestic travel.
• Designate seat assignments.
• Verify documentation for international and domestic flights.
• Ensure correct boarding passes are provided to each passenger for the assigned charter flight.
• Verify ticket and seat reservations.
• Match manifest to on-board count
• Assist with various governmental agency requirements.
• Connect and disconnect Jetway/stairs as necessary.
• Announce arrivals and departures as necessary.
