Job summary

Joybird is opening a new store in Pasadena and seeks a Retail Sales Associate to drive sales and deliver an outstanding shopper experience. You will open/close the store, support the sales team, and manage client follow-up to build lasting relationships.

Excellent communication and a passion for furniture retail are required. This role offers base pay with uncapped commission and a monthly bonus, plus benefits and a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years retail sales experience with shift supervision preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and perform duties in the absence of management.
• Lead and support the sales team to meet financial goals and provide excellent service.
• Grow and maintain a personal client book; follow up with clients to drive sales.
• Maintain showroom design and visual standards using merchandising guidelines.
• Support leadership to create programs improving customer experiences and relay feedback to teams.
