Job summary

Joybird’s Los Angeles showroom seeks a motivated Retail Sales Associate to drive sales and deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will support leadership, maintain visual standards, and build a personal client book while engaging customers with proactive outreach.

Featuring uncapped commission on written sales (2%) and a monthly $500 bonus, the role offers stability with base pay of $18.42 per hour plus bonuses, for a 40-hour week and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years retail sales experience with shift supervision experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.
• No travel required.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and perform other duties in the absence of management.
• Open and close with store keys and alarm code; daily sales reporting to retail leadership.
• Oversee the sales floor during high volume; support sales team and supervise to meet financial goals and deliver excellent service.
• Lead by example as Lead Sales Associate in sales generation and customer service, delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Maintain showroom design and visual standards using merchandising guidelines.
• Grow and maintain a strong client base; drive store sales through client follow-up and outreach.
