Job summary

Joybird is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to drive in-store sales and deliver an exceptional customer experience in our showroom in Los Angeles. You will lead by example, assist the leadership team, and mentor teammates to hit sales goals while maintaining showroom standards.

You will manage daily operations, build client relationships, perform opening/closing duties, and collaborate with product and marketing teams to enhance the customer journey.

Qualifications

• 2+ years retail sales experience with shift supervision experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Proficiency in Mac operating systems and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and perform duties in the absence of management
• Open/close the store with keys and alarm code
• Daily sales reporting to retail leadership
• Oversee sales floor during high volume; support sales team and supervise to meet financial goals
• Lead Sales Associate role; model exceptional customer experience and sales generation
• Maintain showroom design and visual standards
• Grow client base through personal clientele and outreach
• Collaborate with leadership to create programs to improve customer experience
• Share insights with product, marketing and tech teams regarding customer needs
• Listen to feedback and present best solutions
