Job summary

Joybird’s Seattle showroom is seeking a Retail Sales Lead to drive a superior customer experience and achieve store targets. You will open/close the store, manage daily sales reporting, and mentor peers while delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

With 2+ years in retail sales and a passion for furniture, you’ll grow a personal client base, liaise with leadership, and uphold merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years retail sales experience with shift supervision preferred.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.
• Knowledge of furniture industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and perform duties in the absence of management.
• Provide daily sales reporting to retail leadership.
• Oversee the sales floor during peak periods and support the team.
• Build and maintain a personal client base and drive store sales through follow-up and outreach.
• Mentor part-time designers when applicable.
