Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Henderson, NV is seeking an energetic Store Events Coordinator to plan and coordinate in-store events, including kids' birthday parties, to deliver a fun and engaging guest experience.

You will help customers shop, provide fast checkout, and support merchandise tasks while managing multiple events, ensuring safety and cleanliness, and creating memorable crafts for guests of all ages.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles, preferably retail.
• Experience working with children and children's events is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work with guests of all ages and co-workers in a fast-paced store environment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate events and parties within the store.
• Assist customers and provide a fast, friendly checkout experience.
• Unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain store recovery standards.
