Job summary

Big Tex Trailer World is seeking a customer-focused Parts Sales Associate to support our dealership’s parts and trailer sales. You will greet customers at the parts counter, identify needs, and recommend suitable parts, while processing transactions accurately and maintaining inventory levels.

You will answer calls, prepare invoices, receive shipments, and place orders to replenish stock. Collaboration with the service team ensures timely parts for service jobs and efficient scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• May substitute three (3) years of commissioned sales experience.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• 3-5 years commissioned sales experience preferred.
• Must be able to work Monday – Saturday and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the parts counter with a friendly and knowledgeable demeanor.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable parts.
• Process parts transactions accurately and efficiently with the register and MTF.
• Answer inbound calls and make outbound sales/follow-up calls.
• Prepare sales paperwork and invoices.
• Receive and inspect incoming parts shipments and maintain inventory.
• Place orders to replenish stock and ensure timely delivery.
• Keep stock levels updated and monitor trends.
• Assist customers in locating and ordering hard-to-find parts.
• Coordinate with service department to order parts for service jobs.
• Assist in service scheduling and meeting timelines.
• Maintain organized offices and facility appearance.
