Job summary

Big Tex Trailer World is seeking a Parts Sales Associate to assist customers at the counter, identify needs, and recommend parts. You will handle transactions with a cash register and My Trailer Force, answer calls, and follow up on sales leads.

Responsibilities include processing invoices, receiving shipments, maintaining inventory, and coordinating with the service department to fulfill parts for service jobs. Monday–Saturday availability and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of commissioned sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to work Monday–Saturday and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the parts counter with a friendly, knowledgeable demeanor.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable parts.
• Process parts transactions accurately using the cash register and My Trailer Force (MTF).
• Answer inbound calls and make outbound sales follow-ups.
• Prepare sales paperwork and invoices for orders.
• Receive and inspect incoming parts shipments and maintain inventory.
• Place orders to replenish stock and monitor stock levels.
• Coordinate with service department to identify required parts for service jobs.
