Job summary

W.W. Williams is seeking a Parts Supervisor for the West Sacramento branch to direct and coordinate the parts function, working with Service and Sales to maintain a satisfied, loyal customer base through excellent service.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and hands-on supervision of the parts department, including inventory control, vendor pricing, and staff development to support service operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication, leadership, and customer service.
• Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Supervisory responsibilities (assigning and directing work) for all people assigned to the parts department.
• Bid Preparation.
• Work with vendors for competitive pricing.
• Support outside salespeople (marketing/new product roll outs).
• Coaches and counsels employees to assure customer satisfaction and inventory accuracy.
• Participates in hiring and termination activities.
• Conducts performance and salary appraisals.
• Develops employees for future roles.
• Meets with service management to review department performance.
• Reviews inventory reports and ensures accuracy.
