Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Cypress, TX is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver exceptional service to retail and installer customers. You will greet customers, help them select merchandise, process transactions, and handle returns.

Qualifications

• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Ability to multitask, handling customers in-store and on the phone.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
• ASE certification is a plus for the role.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and Weatherly Index System is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Greet retail and installer customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist with selection of merchandise.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers.
• Process transactions, returns, and exchanges per company policies.
• Maintain cash drawer and handle payments by cash, check or credit card.
• Assist with stocking, planogram updates and inventory tasks.
• Provide in-store services such as installing wipers, testing batteries and charging systems where permitted.
• Support store operations and customer service over the phone with accurate price quotes.
