Job summary

MANCON, LLC is seeking a Parts Specialist I to provide counter service to VDOT employees and support inventory control, data entry, and customer service. The role may involve driving a MANCON vehicle to pick up parts and requires accurate handling of requisitions, pricing, and part numbers.

The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, experience with auto or heavy-duty truck parts, and the ability to perform quick counts, follow safety procedures, and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License with two years driving experience.
• 1 year experience with auto parts or heavy-duty truck parts.
• 24-hour availability during emergency and/or critical operations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to include but not limited to the following: Attention to detail; Review, familiarize with and adhere to Product Group Catalog; Review, familiarize with and adhere to MANCON’s SOPs and Safety Manual; Meet and greet customers; Review supplied requisition forms to ensure they are properly completed; Answer questions regarding availability of parts; Ask appropriate questions to ensure correct parts are researched and provided; Inform customers when requested parts are available.
