Job summary

MANCON in Virginia is seeking a Parts Specialist I to provide counter service to VDOT employees and assist with inventory control, data entry in inventory systems, and customer service. The role may involve occasional driving a MANCON vehicle to pick up parts.

You will work in storerooms and warehouses, support weekly cycle counts, and ensure accurate pricing and quantities on invoices. Valid driver's license and auto/heavy-truck parts experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver''s license with at least two years of driving experience.
• At least 1 year experience with auto parts or heavy-duty truck parts.
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift license.
• 24-hour availability during emergencies and critical operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service at the counter and assist with part inquiries.
• Assist in inventory control and weekly wall-to-wall counts.
• Data entry for invoices and vendor receiving documents in inventory systems.
• Drive MANCON vehicle to purchase or pick up parts and return products to location.
• Review catalogs, policies, and SOPs to ensure compliance.
• Support inventory research projects and participate in training programs.
