Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide high-level service to retail and installer customers. You will greet customers, help select merchandise, and support store management in assigned tasks.

You may assist professional customers, process transactions, and maintain cash drawers. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and training will be provided for store operations and equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level of service to retail and installer customers.
• Greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them in selecting merchandise.
• Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed.
• Complete assigned company training relevant to position.
• Provide excellent service to customers calling the store on the phone, look up parts, quote prices, and offer related items.
• Responsible for maintaining and securing the cash drawer, accepting payments, and processing transactions.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit in accordance with company policies.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, including freight receival, stocking shelves, and cleaning.
• Perform daily operational tasks and stock counts.
• Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training.
• Perform in-store services for customers where state/local laws allow.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
