Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide high-level service to retail and installer customers in our store. The role emphasizes friendly customer interactions, merchandise selection assistance, and accurate sales processing.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, with knowledge of automotive parts and related selling strategies being a plus. The position involves assisting store management, supporting professional customers, and performing daily stock and planogram

Qualifications

• Demonstrates outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
• Able to multitask between customers on phone and in-store.
• Spanish language skills are a plus and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with automotive parts, catalogs, and related selling strategies.
• ASE certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of Weatherly Index System is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and assist with product selection in-store.
• Support store management and professional customers as needed.
• Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions securely.
• Process exchanges/returns and resolve customer complaints.
• Assist with daily image maker, planogram updates, and shelf stocking.
• Provide in-store services such as battery tests and wiper installations.
