Alamo Group in Wooster, OH is seeking a Parts Specialist to assist customers by processing parts orders, responding to quotes, researching technical information, expediting orders, and delivering excellent service while maximizing part sales.

You will answer inquiries, handle order entry, advise on parts, promote programs, maintain stock levels, and collaborate with other departments to support customers and grow profitability.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and general technical knowledge of mobile equipment.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
• Good mathematical skills and business acumen.
• Ability to plan, organize, develop and interpret programs and procedures.
• Experience with order processing systems and ERP software (JD Edwards).

Responsibilities

• Process parts orders and quotes, research technical information, and respond to inquiries.
• Expedite orders, track deliveries, and assist with returns or substitutions.
• Provide pricing and availability for quotes and advise on parts selections.
• Maintain branch inventory levels and review open order reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill customer needs and maximize part sales.
