Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Parts Specialist - CES to support the parts department and ensure inventory meets projected needs for customers and the branch service department.

Preferred candidates have 2+ years of retail/sales exposure, strong Microsoft Office skills, and a commitment to exceptional customer service and teamwork in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver''s license with acceptable driving record.
• 2+ years of retail/sales exposure.
• Heavy equipment knowledge is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use technology tools to increase performance efficiency.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Purchase parts from manufacturers and suppliers; acquire parts from other branches as-needed to maintain and replenish inventory.
• Process external and internal parts orders by completing invoices, updating inventory records, verifying customer credit and shipping parts as needed.
• Advise Management on parts activities, future trends and matters which affect the efficiency of the department regarding customer relations.
• Maintain current parts manuals, catalogs, literature and price lists for all equipment sold by the company.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
