Job summary

United Rentals in Florida is seeking a Parts Specialist - CES to support the parts department, maintaining inventory and coordinating with the branch’s service team to meet customer needs.

You will purchase parts, replenish stock across branches, process orders, and help advise management on parts activities. The role emphasizes customer service, reliability, and teamwork within a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of retail/sales exposure.
• Heavy equipment knowledge is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Purchase parts from manufacturers and suppliers.
• Acquire parts from other branches to maintain inventory.
• Process external and internal parts orders; update invoices and inventory records.
• Advise Management on parts activities and trends affecting department efficiency.
• Maintain current parts manuals, catalogs and price lists for equipment.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

As a Parts Specialist - Customer Equipment Solutions (Parts Specialist - CES) at United Rentals, you will be responsible for supporting the parts department, including the maintenance of sufficient inventory levels to meet projected parts needs of customers and the branch’s service department.

Additional duties include the following:

• Purchase parts from manufacturers and suppliers;
• acquire parts from other branches as-needed to maintain and replenish inventory
• Process external and internal parts orders by completing invoices, updating inventory records, verifying customer credit and shipping parts as needed
• Advise Management on parts activities, future trends and matters which affect the efficiency of the department regarding customer relations
• Maintain current parts manuals, catalogs, literature and price lists for all equipment sold by the company
• Other duties assigned as needed

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• 2+ years of retail /sales exposure
• Heavy equipment knowledge is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use technology tools to increase performance efficiency
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
• This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals’ policies and procedures.
