Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to greet customers, help them select merchandise, and assist professional customers at the store. Responsibilities include answering calls, looking up parts, quoting prices, and offering related items with a focus on friendly service.

Additional duties include cash handling, returns processing, and maintaining store displays and planograms. On-store services and occasional delivery duties may be performed, subject to training and law.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them in selecting merchandise.
• Assist managers and installers with professional customers.
• Process cash, credit, refunds, and exchanges per policy.
• Answer store calls, lookup parts, quote prices, and recommend related items.
• Perform daily store tasks and maintain image maker/planogram updates.
• Provide in-store services (e.g., battery tests, wiper installs) where allowed by law.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
