Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers and to support store management in achieving tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, and the role includes cash handling and in-store services.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Promote and follow all company customer service programs and assist customers in selecting merchandise.
• Promptly greet retail customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Support managers and installer service specialists with professional customers as needed.
• Complete assigned company training relevant to position.
• Answer store calls per policy, look up parts, quote prices, and offer related items and Low-Price Guarantee.
• Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions securely.
• Process exchanges and returns according to policy.
• Address and resolve customer complaints.
• Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, stocking shelves, and cleanliness.
• Perform daily operational tasks including stock adjustments and inventory counts.
• Operate brake lathe and other store equipment after training.
• Perform in-store services (where allowed) such as installing wipers, testing batteries, and more.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate.
