Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Vernon, Alabama is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high level service to retail and installer customers and assist store management with daily tasks. You will greet customers, recommend parts, process transactions, handle returns, and support phone inquiries per company policy.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist in merchandise selection.
• Assist installers and professional customers as needed.
• Handle cash, checks, credit card transactions, and returns per policy.
• Answer store calls, lookup parts, quote prices, and promote related items.
• Maintain and secure cash drawer; process exchanges and returns for credit.
• Assist with image maker, planogram updates, stocking shelves, and fronting/facing.
• Perform daily operational tasks including stock counts, cycle counts, and vehicle service tasks where allowed.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
