Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Albertville, AL is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide high-level service to retail and installer customers and support store management. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, and you will assist with sales, cashier duties, and various in-store tasks to maintain a positive customer experience.

You will promote company service programs, help customers find parts, process transactions, and support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist in selecting merchandise.
• Promote and follow customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, etc.).
• Assist managers and installers in serving professional customers as needed.
• Process phone orders, look up parts, quote prices, and offer related items and Low-Price Guarantee.
• Maintain and secure cash drawer, process cash/checks, and handle credit card transactions.
• Process exchanges and returns per policy and handle customer complaints.
• Assist with image maker/planogram updates, stock shelves, and perform daily operations.
• Operate store equipment after training and meet company requirements.
• Perform in-store services (e.g., install wipers, test batteries, scan codes) and occasional deliveries.
• All other duties as assigned.
