Job summary

Vermeer Midwest in Marne, MI is seeking a Parts Specialist to serve customers with parts and accessories for heavy equipment. This day shift, Monday–Friday role combines customer service with hands-on inventory work and close collaboration with our service team.

You will receive paid, on-the-job training to grow your skills, performing tasks from assisting in-store and phone inquiries to processing shipments and maintaining stock records.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 1+ year in a customer service role.
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in-store and over the phone with parts inquiries.
• Use catalogs, schematics, and systems to identify needed parts.
• Process incoming shipments and restock inventory.
• Accurately fill customer and service department orders.
• Prepare invoices, sales receipts, and related documentation.
• Perform inventory checks and help maintain organized stock.
• Inspect parts for defects and manage returns or substitutions.
