Butler Machinery Company in Pierre, SD is seeking a Parts and Service Sales Representative to build strong customer relationships and sell CAT parts and service. The role covers the Rapid City or Pierre locations with periodic travel to customer accounts and requires strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities include supporting sales presentations, relaying opportunities to the aftermarket team, and developing new markets within the territory.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service and Parts experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist salesmen with customer presentations.
• Relay parts and service opportunities to Aftermarket Sales Manager and track task progress.
• Market and sell the value of CAT parts and service.
• Find new markets, customers, and applications within territory.
• Perform equipment inspections including certified used equipment and warranty inspections.
• Develop knowledge of competitive products and suppliers.
• Provide input on annual forecasts for territory potential.
• Resolve customer issues.
• Collaborate with Customer Account Managers and Parts and Service Managers on goals and marketing ideas.
• Maintain accurate customer records.
• Align with Butler Machinery vision and values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
