Job summary

Paycom - ATS Jerseyville is seeking a motivated Parts & Service Sales Representative to grow parts and service business in an assigned territory, spending significant time in the field building customer relationships and identifying needs before breakdowns occur.

You will work with Parts, Service, Equipment Sales and Precision Ag to develop opportunities, maintain CRM data, and own opportunities from start to finish.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Parts Sales preferred.
• Experience with agriculture or heavy equipment.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned customer territory (Jersey, Madison, St.Clair and Monroe Counties).
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through field visits.
• Proactively identify parts, maintenance, inspection, and repair opportunities.
• Follow up on parts quotes and service estimates.
• Identify and recover lost parts and service business.
• Work closely with Parts, Service, Equipment Sales, and Precision Ag.
• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information in the dealership CRM.
• Take ownership of customer opportunities from identification through completion.

Purpose

We are looking for a motivated Parts & Service Sales Representative (PSSR) to develop and grow parts and service business with equipment customers throughout an assigned territory. The PSSR is a customer-facing, commission-based sales position focused on helping customers keep their equipment productive while growing parts, service, inspection, and repair business for the dealership. PSSR will spend significant time in the field developing customer relationships, understanding their equipment and operation, identifying needs before breakdowns occur, and connecting customers with the dealership's Parts & Service resources.

Qualifications: Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge

• 2+ years of experience working in a Parts Sales preferred.
• Experience with agriculture, off road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment
• Experience with basic computer functions; Outlook and Excel are required.
• Experience working cooperatively in a team environment
• Experience communicating effectively
• Experience analyzing and interpreting internal reports
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required; Associate degree preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
