Riesterer & Schnell in Stratford, WI is seeking a Parts Representative to greet customers, assess needs, and provide timely parts solutions both in person and over the phone. You will work Mon-Fri 7:30 am–5 pm with a Saturday rotation, starting at $20–$25 per hour, and collaborate with service staff to ensure parts availability and accurate invoicing.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers upon arrival to the department and over the phone, using their name as appropriate, and provide prompt service.
• Ask appropriate questions to determine the best solution to the customers' parts needs and use available resources to find solutions.
• Build relationships with customers and be a resource for questions.
• Promote marketing programs and the R&S value.
• Assist Technicians and other service personnel in retrieving parts and support profitability.
• Retrieve parts from inventory, transfers from another store, or orders as needed.
• Generate an invoice, accept payment and process the transaction accurately.
• Coordinate shipments incoming and outbound from the dealership.
• Maintain an orderly showroom, display seasonal merchandising, and keep parts area clean and safe.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and participate in annual physical inventory.
• Stay up-to-date on equipment and market trends through training and material updates.
• Complete related paperwork in a timely manner.
• Present a positive, professional image in dress and conduct.
• All other duties as assigned.

Hours for this job are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am until 5 pm and a Saturday rotation from 7:30 am until noon

Starting wage range is typically $20-25/hr and varies by experience level

As a Parts Representative you have the important responsibility to respond to customers with a sense of urgency, taking ownership of their parts needs, and providing a solution in a timely, accurate manner.

Essential Functions

• 1. Makes sure customers are greeted upon arrival to the department and over the phone, using their name as appropriate, waiting on them promptly, and always thanking them for their business.
• 2. Asks appropriate questions to determine the best solution to the customers' parts need. Uses all available resources to find the best solution.
• 3. Works to build a solid business relationship with customers and be a resource for questions.
• 4. Communicates marketing programs to customers, promoting the R&S value.
• 5. Assists Technicians and other Service personnel in retrieving parts, recognizing that shop orders are equally important to the profitability of the Parts department.
• 6. Retrieves parts from inventory, transfers in from another store, or orders as needed.
• 7. Generates an invoice, accepts payment and accurately processes the transaction.
• 8. Coordinates shipments incoming and outbound from the dealership.
• 9. Goes through parts orders as they arrive and puts them away or matches them with orders.
• 10. Contacts customers and notifies them when orders are in.
• 11. Faces, stocks and dusts merchandise on the showroom floor on a daily basis to ensure eye-catching displays.
• 12. Creates seasonal merchandising displays to promote sales.
• 13. Shares in the responsibility of after-hours calls with other parts department staff.
• 14. Refers leads on other sales opportunities to R&S staff as appropriate.
• 15. Maintains a clean, neat and safe parts area, observing safety guidelines at all times.
• 16. Assists in maintaining an accurate inventory of all parts on hand, participates in annual physical inventory process as requested.
• 17. Stays up-to-date on equipment and market trends through attending training, product bulletins and other resources.
• 18. Completes all related paperwork in a timely, efficient manner.
• 19. Presents a positive, professional image in dress and conduct at all times.
• 20. All other duties as assigned.
