Job summary

Sudden Service, INC (SSI) is seeking a capable Service Coordinator in Chesapeake, VA to work with customers and field mechanics to identify maintenance needs and advise on recommended services. The role involves calculating parts and labor costs and generating service orders for invoicing.

You will maintain paperwork, track service time, and support vehicle-related records while ensuring accuracy and compliance. A high school diploma or GED and prior parts/service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Experience in Parts / Service industry with emphasis on coordinating service with technicians and parts personnel.
• Previous customer-service oriented role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works with customers and Field Service Mechanics to identify required maintenance.
• Advises customers on necessary/suggested services.
• Computes cost of replacement parts and labor to restore lift truck to customer specifications.
• Estimates cost of mechanical, electrical, or other repairs and explains to customer.
