Job summary

Control Southern in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Parts Specialist to support aftermarket parts sales and service. You will be the primary contact for customers, propose replacement parts, and prepare quotations throughout the equipment lifecycle.

Collaborating with Account Managers and Service Teams, you will identify opportunities, drive revenue growth, and deliver exceptional service, while keeping precise records and timely communications.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred, or high school diploma with equivalent customer service or sales support experience.
• Strong customer service mindset with a passion for helping customers succeed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams and Webex.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for aftermarket parts inquiries, quotations, orders, and documentation.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience driving satisfaction and loyalty.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers within an assigned territory.
• Manage customer expectations through proactive communication and timely updates.
• Identify opportunities, qualify customer needs, and provide effective solutions.
• Prepare accurate and competitive quotations and follow up to secure business.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Application Engineers, and Service Teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Present options and recommendations to improve reliability and asset longevity.
• Develop spare parts lists and advise on equipment maintenance and lifecycle planning.
• Research and resolve customer questions related to parts, applications, and order requirements.
• Manage and support the complete order fulfillment process from quotation through invoicing and payment.
• Process orders accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with procedures.
• Coordinate product assembly, shipment, invoicing, and order tracking.
• Escalate critical orders and resolve issues to meet commitments.
• Maintain detailed and accurate customer, order, and vendor records.
• Partner with internal teams and supplier partners to achieve growth objectives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturer and supplier partners.
• Assist with special pricing requests, expedited deliveries, customer agreements, and technical inquiries.
• Share product knowledge to support team success.
