Lithia & Driveway's Suburban Exotics dealership in Michigan is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to lead a multi-brand parts operation. You will train staff, manage warranty and returns, and ensure inventory turns while coordinating with Lithia Home Offices to optimize performance.

The role requires hands-on leadership, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to deliver exceptional service and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• VW/Audi/Porsche/BMW experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee parts operations in a multi-branded dealership with varying order systems and policies.
• Train and develop parts staff; set performance expectations and coach.
• Manage warranty, core, and aftermarket parts returns in compliance with policies.
• Maintain inventory levels to hit 6-8 turns per year and maximize ROI.
• Place daily orders, receipts, postings, and monitor MIS reports for revenue.
• Hold regular staff meetings and liaise between store and Lithia Home Offices.

What You'll Do

Ability to work in a Multi-branded dealership with varying order systems/requirements/policies/procedures Parts Staff Training and Development Ensure employees are properly trained to meet department, store and customer needs. Develop staff by setting and communicating performance/production expectations, monitoring performance, identifying development needs, coaching and mentoring. Customer Engagement Warranty Parts Management Ensure full compliance with all procedures, policies and rules Returns Processing Ensure core, warranty, manufacturer and aftermarket parts returns are processed accurately, timely, and in full compliance with all policies and procedures. Inventory Management Assure stocking levels are sufficient to meet customer demands. Inventory investment to produce 6-8 turns per year to ensure maximum return on investment and customer satisfaction. Utilize inventory reports to manage inventory levels daily. Ensure orders are processed, check for backordered items and customers are notified of order status. Responsible for placing daily orders, stock orders, receipting, posting inventory and special orders. Read, understand and take action on MIS reports to generate maximum revenue and control expenses. Hold daily and monthly staff meetings as required covering key information. Serve as liaison between the store and Lithia Home Offices Fixed Operations. Receive, communicate and hold staff accountable to policy and procedure requirements and updates. Complete parts department reporting and month-end procedures on time.
