Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is hiring a Parts Manager for DCH Ford of Thousand Oaks in Thousand Oaks, CA. This onsite role reports to the General Manager and leads the parts team, manages inventory, and drives department results.

The California-based position offers strong total rewards including competitive pay, benefits, and incentives. Significant Ford/auto parts experience is required or strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of franchised automotive parts experience.
• Knowledge of automotive parts.
• CDK experience preferred.
• Ford or Domestic experience a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and develop parts staff.
• Resolve customer requests in a professional, timely manner.
• Manage warranty parts and returns.
• Oversee inventory management and stock levels.
• Process daily orders and monitor backorders.
• Read MIS reports to maximize revenue and control expenses.
• Liaise between store and Lithia Home Offices Fixed Operations.
• Complete monthly department reporting and close procedures.

You will report directly to General Manager.

This position is onsite in person in Thousand Oaks, California.

What You’ll Do

• Parts Staff Recruiting, Training and Development
• Resolve customer requests, questions and concerns in a professional, and prompt manner.
• Warranty Parts Management
• Returns Processing
• Inventory Management
• Utilize inventory reports to manage inventory levels daily. Identify areas not aligned with department goals and resolve.
• Ensure orders are processed, check for backordered items and customers are notified of order status.
• Responsible for placing daily orders, stock orders, receipting, posting inventory and special orders.
• Read, understand and take action on MIS reports to generate maximum revenue and control expenses.
• Serve as liaison between the store and Lithia Home Offices Fixed Operations. Receive, communicate and hold staff accountable to policy and procedure requirements and updates.
• Complete parts department reporting and month-end procedures on time.

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years of franchised automotive parts experience REQUIRED
• Knowledge of automotive parts REQUIRED
• CDK experience a PLUS
• Previous Ford or Domestic experience a PLUS but not REQUIRED
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence.

Total Rewards

The California salary pay range for this position is $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 annually. This is a performance driven position, eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes commissions off Department Net and bonuses based on Manufacturer Approvability.

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
