Job summary

Rumpke is seeking an Inventory Specialist to ensure availability of maintenance parts and support the corporate inventory team. You will manage parts receipt, stocking, and distribution to technicians and locations, while maintaining accurate records and vendor relationships.

Key duties include cycle counts, purchase orders, warranty processing, and data entry in inventory systems. A valid driver's license and ability to travel between offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Heavy-duty truck parts knowledge preferred.
• 1–2 years office experience preferred.
• Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain within 90 days preferred.
• Must be able to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Issue necessary replacement parts to mechanics.
• Receive and unpack parts, verify shipments (numbers, quantities, pricing).
• Receive, tag, stock, and disburse parts to technicians or locations.
• Prepare purchase orders for parts and equipment.
• Perform weekly cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Investigate and reconcile inventory reports.
• Prepare and process warranty claims.
• Transfer parts to outlying locations as needed.
• Drive company vehicle on routes to outlying locations.
