Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking an Inside Sales & Service - Parts representative for its East Syracuse, NY Customer Center. The role spans from inquiry through delivery, including parts identification, quoting, order receipt, pricing, processing, expediting and problem solving.

Growth includes support to outside sales with lead generation and market intelligence. The position emphasizes strong customer service, inventory management and coordination with internal teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or 2–3 years relevant experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Technical background highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce a plus.
• Forklift certification a plus; company can certify you.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory to stocking levels and ensure order processing is complete and error-free.
• Manage outside purchases and product transportation expenses effectively and efficiently.
• Ensure EH&S compliance and forklift operation within safety guidelines.
• Maintain all paperwork and purchase orders; respond to customer inquiries promptly.
• Prepare sales reports, presentations, and research as requested.
