Job summary

Inside Sales & Service - Parts role based in East Syracuse, NY Customer Center. Support from inquiry to delivery, including parts identification, quoting, order confirmation, pricing, order processing, expediting and problem solving.

As you gain experience, you may assist outside sales with lead generation, market intelligence, and may be involved in Special Projects coordinating complex orders with external entities. This is a fully site-based position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree or 2-3 years of relevant experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Technical background highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to navigate internal software after hire.
• SalesForce experience a plus.
• Forklift certification a plus but not required (we'll certify you!).
• This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling; ability to lift up to 10 lbs and occasionally 40+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory to stocking levels and ensure the order process is complete and error-free.
• Manage outside purchases and transportation expenses efficiently.
• Ensure EH&S compliance.
• Operate forklift in Parts Warehouse in compliance.
• Maintain paperwork and purchase orders to respond to inquiries timely.
• Prepare sales and activity reports, presentations, studies and research as requested.
