Job summary

Roberts Truck Center is seeking a Parts Front Counter Sales Representative to handle customer inquiries, take orders, and sell parts from the counter and shop floor. You will enter sales into the system, process payments, and ensure accurate inventory records while delivering excellent service.

The role requires strong communication, product knowledge, and the ability to work independently and with others in a fast-paced environment. Occasional travel and physical effort may be required.

Qualifications

• Data entry, telephone and customer service skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Completes sales by entering items into the sales/inventory system and processing payment.
• Maintains parts inventory by verifying supplies and placing orders.
• Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability and credit terms.
• Recommend solutions based on customer needs and interests.
• Stocks items, re-pack and re-shelve returns, and manage damaged items.
• Maintain safe and secure environment per standards; travel may be required.
• Identify prospective customers and update knowledge on products.
• Accomplish organizational goals and handle other duties as assigned.
