Velocity Vehicle Group seeks a Parts Front Counter Person to greet customers, process parts orders, and support the sales and service teams. You will pull parts, handle returns, and help maintain an organized, customer-focused parts department.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma, several years of truck parts experience, and excellent communication skills. A friendly, professional demeanor and reliability are essential to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Three years or more experience with heavy-duty trucks and parts.
• Demonstrated knowledge of truck engines, transmissions and rear axles.
• Knowledge of after-market vendors.
• Knowledge of supplies, equipment and mechanical parts.
• Proficient in relevant computer applications.
• Required language proficiency to effectively communicate with customers.
• Experience in customer service environment preferred.
• Data Entry and strong typing skills preferred.
• Ability to effectively listen.
• Ability to interpret customer needs.
• Self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the front counter and support the parts department to drive sales.
• Sell parts and services for truck repairs to meet customer needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized parts area and assist with merchandising displays.
• Pull parts for customers and process returns.
• Record all sales and customer transactions accurately.
• Support Parts Manager with merchandise displays and inventory control.
• Ensure showroom and sales floor meet dealership standards and customer satisfaction.
• Perform housekeeping to maintain product presentation and cleanliness.
• Use dealership equipment safely and proficiently.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve concerns promptly.
