Job summary

Roberts Truck Center - Amarillo is seeking a Parts Front Counter Sales Representative to assist customers, take orders, and sell new and replacement parts. You will maintain parts databases, process sales, and handle returns while ensuring accuracy and a safe work environment.

The role requires strong data entry, communication, and product knowledge, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy shop setting. Travel is limited, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Completes sales by entering purchased items into sales/inventory system; obtaining payment.
• Maintains parts inventory by verifying supplies; placing orders.
• Answer questions about products, prices, availability, product uses and credit terms.
• Recommend solutions to customer needs, based on customer interests.
• Receives returned items: inspecting items; returning payment; issuing credit; re-packing and re-shelving.
• Maintains safe and secure environment by following safety and security standards and procedures.
• Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, rental departments and other internal sales people, as well as your own lot and dealership check.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading about new products.
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Other duties assigned by manager.
