Job summary

The Inventory Control & Parts Expeditor role at Nextran Truck Centers in Duluth, GA offers hands-on responsibility in parts intake, pricing checks, and efficient stock management to support dealers across our network.

You will verify invoices, process rebates, coordinate with OEMs and drivers, and help maintain accurate inventory records while upholding safety and quality standards. This position emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork within a busy service environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Reliable with consistent attendance.
• High school diploma or technical training preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Check in parts and reconcile receiving with packing slips to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare parts for sale and verify dealer net price.
• Stock inventory including organizing shelves and rotating stock.
• Process, file and code rebates monthly.
• Review OEM invoices for accuracy and scan/maintain records.
• File discrepancies with OEM for damaged, missing or wrong parts.
• Ship parts to assigned locations.
• Complete purchase orders and verify prices before posting.
• Track orders for counter sales and repair orders; follow up with vendors.
• Coordinate with parts counter personnel and delivery drivers on transfers.
• Core management from core credit to customer to processing returns to assigned location.
• Other duties, as assigned.
