Job summary

Hunter Truck in Scranton, PA is hiring an Assistant Parts Manager to lead daily operations in the Parts Department, manage inventory, and drive sales growth. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, experience with medium- and heavy-duty trucks, and the ability to implement dealership policies, train staff, manage the annual budget, and coordinate safety practices.

Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, at 2900 Stafford Avenue, Scranton, PA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience with medium- and heavy-duty trucks required.
• ASE certification preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Support Parts Department to grow sales using resources and merchandising.
• Assist in implementing Hunter Truck policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Update CRM systems to track opportunities and measure success.
• Enforce safety rules and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Develop and maintain merchandising displays; assist in budgeting.
• Partner with the Parts Manager on training and succession plans.
