Job summary

Hunter Truck is seeking an Assistant Parts Manager in Allentown, PA. The role supports the Parts Department, drives parts sales, and helps implement dealership policies and training programs. You will manage CRM data, enforce safety guidelines, and assist in budgeting and merchandising.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in related roles, a Bachelor’s Degree preferred, and experience with medium- and heavy-duty trucks. ASE or related certifications are a plus. CDL may be required based on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 5+ years of related experience or training.
• Strong interpersonal skills required.
• Experience with medium- and heavy-duty trucks is required.

Responsibilities

• Support Parts Department personnel in growing parts sales using resources, marketing materials, and merchandising.
• Assist with implementing Hunter Truck policies, procedures, and dealership training programs.
• Update and maintain CRM systems to track opportunities and assess success ratios.
• Enforce safety rules and support OSHA and company safety regulations.
• Develop and maintain effective merchandising displays.
• Partner with the Parts Manager to develop training and succession plans.
• Assist in preparing and administering the annual Parts Department operating budget.
• Maintain vehicle and major asset maintenance records to maximize ROI.
• Support AOR development through research, customer visits, and trade shows.
• Attend manager meetings and collaborate with leadership to meet goals.
• Promote a professional appearance and a safe, team-focused work environment.
• Conduct safety training, inspections, and accident prevention initiatives.
