Job summary

Hunter Truck in Wheeling, WV is hiring a Parts Assistant to support the parts department and keep the warehouse efficient and safe. The role involves picking orders, packing, shipping via UPS, and assisting with inventory counts.

The position offers a Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm schedule in a team-focused environment with a strong emphasis on safety. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 months related experience, basic computer skills, and must be able to pass forklift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination).
• Basic computer knowledge is required.
• Must be able to complete and pass OSHA-approved forklift training.

Responsibilities

• Keep the warehouse and dock area clean, safe, and organized at all times.
• Pick orders according to invoice or packing slip and prepare for shipment.
• Operate equipment safely, including lift trucks and hand trucks.
• Dispose of warehouse waste daily.
• Maintain cores, package, process, and ship cores bi-weekly and monthly.
• Pull, package, and ship returns to Hunter locations, Paccar, and vendors.
• Assist with quarterly inventory cycle counts.
