Job summary

Hunter Truck is seeking a Dealership Manager Trainee in Allentown, PA. The program offers rotations across Parts, Service, Truck Sales, Leasing, Finance, and Corporate to prepare you for leadership roles within the network.

You will gain hands-on experience, build relationships with management, customers, and vendors, and participate in events and training to advance your career. CDL training is included as part of the program.

Qualifications

• Education: College degree preferred or 2 years in heavy-duty truck-related work.
• Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic truck knowledge; ability to type.
• Communication: Read/interpret business and technical materials; write reports and communicate with managers and customers.
• Licenses: Valid driver's license; CDL required and Vehicle Sales License if required in your state (upon hire).
• Physical: Frequent walking/driving; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs; vision requirements.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured Dealership Trainee program with rotations across Parts, Service, Truck Sales, Leasing, Finance, and Corporate.
• Gain hands-on experience in departmental operations and procedures; develop leadership skills.
• Establish positive relationships with management, customers, and vendors.
• Attend OEM, vendor, and dealership-sponsored events and training sessions.
• Complete required training and obtain a CDL in your state.
• Demonstrate problem-solving, customer care, creative thinking, and teamwork.
• Participate in regular review meetings with managers and mentors; progress toward placement within Hunter Truck.
