Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a proactive Delivery Driver to serve pro customers. You will pick, stage and safely deliver parts, handle returns, upsell products, and build lasting relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and the ability to work a mix of days, evenings and weekends. You’ll maintain store cleanliness, stock parts, and use inventory systems while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, providing CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
