Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles and deliver parts to professional customers. You will process deliveries with hand-held devices, collect COD payments, and handle customer returns, while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and security.

You will assist with cashiering, merchandising, and other duties as needed, ensuring compliance with driving records and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet company standards.
• Must possess a legally required state driver\'s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Process deliveries using fleet hand-held devices, capture signatures, update mileage, and perform daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and money secure at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and complete driver return slips.
• Notify store management of problems or special customer needs.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or accidents to the store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is full and vehicle is secured at end of day.
• Clock in/out per company policy; assist with cashiering or merchandising when needed.
• Perform other duties including stocking, merchandising, errands, and order fulfillment.
