O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles delivering parts to professional customers. The role includes handling COD collections, returning items, and performing daily vehicle inspections in a fast-paced retail environment.

The position requires safe driving, strong communication, and the ability to adapt to changing delivery scenarios. It may involve assisting customers and performing merchandising tasks as needed.

Formación

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet company standards (14/18-point system).
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet eligibility requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
• Use delivery fleet devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean, well-maintained, and inspected before operation.
• Keep delivery vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies secure at all times.
• Pickup customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs to store management.
• Report maintenance needs or accidents to the store manager.
• Ensure fuel is topped off and vehicles are secured at day’s end.
• Clock in/out according to policy; perform other duties as assigned.
• Assist customers as needed, including cashiering and merchandising tasks.
