Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, collect COD payments, and handle customer returns. You will use fleet devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and perform daily inspections, while keeping assets secure and reporting any issues to store management.

May assist customers at times and support merchandising efforts.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and inspect vehicles.
• Keep vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies secure at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or incidents to store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicles are secured at end of day.
• Clock in/out per policy.
• Assist with cashier duties, merchandising, and stocking as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
