Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers. You will also handle returns, promote loyalty programs and assist with inventory and upselling.

The role requires a valid driver's license, strong customer service, and the ability to work flexible days, including evenings and weekends. Ideal candidates have automotive parts experience, read safety rules and product catalogs, and can use basic math to manage transactions.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Ability to work a variable schedule including days, evenings and weekends.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus; communicate effectively with customers and peers.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
