Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Driver/Delivery associate to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers. You will also pick up returns and cores, and promote current sales and loyalty programs.

The role requires a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, the ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance, and strong English communication. You will engage with walk-in customers, build relationships, and help upsell related parts or services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals.
• Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pickup returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
